About Leopold Carl Müller

Leopold Carl Müller (1834–1892) was a painter who became primarily known as one of the most important representatives of Orientalism in Austrian painting. He was born in Dresden, Germany, but grew up and worked mainly in Vienna, Austria. Leopold Carl Müller trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where he focused on genre painting and historical subjects.
