About Leo Gestel

Leo Gestel is generally referred to as one of the great Dutch Modern artists, a title he bears ex aequo with Jan Sluijters. Leo Gestel was a painter, both in oil and watercolour, and he drew, predominantly landscapes, figures, still-lifes and flowers.
