About Charles Camoin
Charlos Camoin born in Marseille in 1879 was a Fauvist painter. Camoin studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Marseille. In 1898 he moves to Paris and there is introduced to the work of Henri Matisse. At that time he mostly painted light and impressionistic landscapes.
