About Bram Bogart
Bram Bogart (1921–2012) was an influential Dutch-Belgian artist best known for his experimental and material-based painting. He was born in Delft and became one of the most important representatives of European Informal Art after World War II. Early in his career, Bram Bogart worked as an illustrator and advertising artist, but he soon developed his own artistic direction in which material, texture, and color played a central role.
