The French painter Cauchois was a student of the then famous A. Cabanel. Cauchois made his debut at the Salon of 1874 and received several awards for his work. Eugène-Henri Cauchois was a well-known painter of flower still lifes and other decorative paintings. Cauchois’s work can be found in many museums in France, including in Louviers, Perpignan and Rouen.
